The Champster
The Champster is based on the very popular 5F1 Champ circuit and had been used on countless classic recordings. It's about as simple a circuit as you'll ever find with a single volume control, but packed with a lot of tone and the traditional "snotty” attitude.
The traditional tube compliment is 1 5Y3GT, 1 6V6GT, and 1 12AX7 and I offer JJ sets of 1 GZ34, 1 6V6GT, and 1 12AX7 as current production tubes.
The Champster is available as a chassis build in aluminum, chrome, or as a self-contained head I call the LunchBox as well as traditional tweed combo.
I offer different output transformers to match your need from 5 watt to 15 watt.
A switch-able negative feedback loop, parallel speaker outputs, and a line out are a few of the options available on the Champster.
