The PackDawg
The PackDawg is based on the tweed narrow panel 5E7 Bandmaster circuit and though similar to the other tweeds in it’s wattage came with a 3x10 speaker configuration that is tonally unique. The 5E7 might not have been the most well known of the tweeds amps, but it’s definitely right at home in any situation with a sweet tone that’s still totally tweed. Features are Normal & Bright channels with high & low inputs on each, separate volume controls, as well as shared bass, treble, and presence controls.
The traditional tube compliment is 1 5U4G, 2 6L6GB, 2 12AX7 and 1 12AY7. I offer JJ sets of 1 GZ34, 2 6L6GC, 2 12AX7 and 1 12AT7 as current production tubes.
I also offer different output transformers to match your need from 35 watt to 60 watt on the PackDawg.
The PackDawg is available as a chassis build in aluminum, chrome, or as a self-contained head I call the LunchBox as well as the traditional tweed combo or head. Different speaker configurations are also available upon request.
