6G3 Brown Deluxe – The ChocoDawg

The ChocoDawg is based 6G3 Brown Deluxe circuit and is one of the transitional amps between the tweed and the blackface models. So what you get is the fatter tone of the tweeds with more gain like the blackface amps from the three 12AX7s in the pre-amp. Add in fixed bias for a tighter feel, plus the foot switch-able bias modulated tremolo, and you have a nice club amp.

Features are Normal & Bright channels with high & low inputs on each channel, separate volume and tone controls for each channel, and speed and intensity controls for the tremolo.

The traditional tube compliment is 1 5Y3GT, 2 6V6GT, 2 12AX7 and 1 7025. I offer JJ sets of 1 GZ34, 2 6V6GT or 6L6GC, and 3 12AX7 as current production tubes.

The ChocoDawg is only available as a chassis build in aluminum or as a self-contained head I call the LunchBox.

I do offer different output transformers to match your need from 12 – 60 watts on the ChocoDawg.
